Works well, not confusing but overwhelming to set up, not enough presets. It would be really cool if each existing preset was a range of presets, showing how to get more or less of that compression quailty. Broadcast 1 like '60s classical radio, Broadcast 5 more or less normal before extreme mastering, and Broadcast 10 like extreme sportscasting. Same for Denoiser. Same for Disco. Same for Hard, with a range of Soft presets next to it. The author doesn't have to do this, anyone with enough patience, good enough listening equipment, and good ears can do it.

I got all the settings to work in Windoze 8 yay!! Winamp folder > Winamp application > Right Click > Properties > Compatability > Run this prog in compatability mode for: Windows Vista. Also in Security, I made sure users had full read/write permissions too.

To use well Sound Solution on Windows 8, run the app which use the plug-in with admin rights and you'll get the best sound experience :)

Have used it for years and years in Winamp---absolutely superb!
I Þm transcribing my LP collection to digital in Sound Forge. I wish there was some way to put Sound Solution in the outpot so I can more easily locate the pops and crackle.

installed the plugin after some messing. enabled the plugin. got into the options and moved ALL the sliders. nothing happened. ?? oh well ..
