This is brand spanking new plug-in to play SID files using the libsidplayfp-2.3.0 library.
- Fade-in support to try and remove clicks
- SLDB, STIL, BUGlist from HVSC supported
- Configurable SIDId support via sidid.cfg files
- stiltxt2md5 tool to support STIL outside of HVSC folders

the 6581 filter strength slider is greyed out, and occasionally "flickers" when hovering near it. i can't adjust a thing :(

Instantly crashes on XP SP3 x86, Athlon 64. Does it not support XP?

Thank you for your efforts so far!! I wanted to report something isn't quite right. I can hearing a rapid "thumping" noise that is not present in either Szczepaniak's or ZXED's plugins. A good example of this is Antti Hannula (Flex)'s "Adriana.sid" from 2014 (Artline). Listen to the opening (00:00-01:06). There are quiet but audible thumps at regular intervals from the backing synth channel (Voice #2). It sounds like a volume change problem, as the voice is simulating an echo effect most of the time

8bit digi sample playback seems to be distorted. Some of the extensive SID abusing tracks like Jammer's sound a bit off too. 2xSID tracks don't seem to play at all.

It works like a charm.
For Songlength and HSVC database if your folder path is by example like C:\Xmplay\C64Music\DOCUMENTS go to SIDex options and enter: C64Music\DOCUMENTS\ ( DONT FORGET last \ )

Tried to download. Windows Security detected Trojan:Win32/Zpevdo.B in the zip file.

It was UPX packed which occasionally causes false positives, this one has the source code fully available and is compiled by me so can confirm 100% it is safe for use.
