This Music player is the best i found since many years, the best combination between full functionality and light weight operation and loading time, is great! i am computer technician, and when i instal OS , i replace first of all the WMP for Xmplay, because the windows player has nothing to do agains XMplay. i use it to play every audio file always . and i love that is available the WhiteCaps visuals for this player, Thank you so much for this software

Every time I get a new computer, XM Player is one of the first bits of software I download. VLC for films and Karaoke, and XM Player for music. Simple, hands on, light, unobtrusive, it is like I good referee at a sports game, you hardly notice it, but it keeps things where you want them. Thanks, whoever is responsible. Used it for several years now, and I have not found anything to better it.

"Write / Save to Disk" feature is still the best for recording live streams once you know the URL. Reliable mp3 stream recording since Win XP. Keep up the excellent work. Thanks a lot.

hey guys, outstanding player, but why is it, that my super outdated winamp can play Oktalyzer .okt filez and XMPlay can't? Support for vintage/legacy formats becomes more and more important to aid preservation! I am so desperately looking for a player like this and it could even help me export my mods as single tracks! But i am stuck with hundreds of unplayable Oktalyzer modules, sadly!

Since Winamp become unsupported by its authors and becomes mutch heavy (meaning spending too much computer resource to play music), XMplayer is my actual defaut music player. It has all features that I need in a player so I don't use other player today. Good job, guys!

The best little player I have found in 20 years of Internet use and DJ ing. There are more complex ones which do different things, but this is my go to when listening to music or doing quizzes. Try writing your own playlists and saving them - you get a real buzz of control!!

This version sadly introduced some bug in .xm file playback. Some .XM files crash now. To everyone reading this, download the PREVIOUS version, 3.8.1, until a newer version that fixes this is released.

you can make in 5 minutes permanent reverb for 50cents with CD2399GP, roger that?
The super fast scroller in 3.8.2 is bloody sick horrible annoying, moving back to 3.8.1.

XMPlay is fucking awesome. I've put up with VLC for years and they STILL haven't fixed the focus when you play video or audio.
My main reason for installing XMPlay is because it has reverb-I am addicted to reverb. I wish that I could download reverb to my car so that I can enjoy music with reverb. Thank you for a simple but sophisticated player-even though I use it for my PC.
