This tool will load at system startup and will hide the icons until you open XMPlay. I know, it's not the best solution, but it works (for me)!
This project was written in Visual Basic 6 using the sourcecode provided at the support site. It is open source, feel free to optimize the code, but please give me feedback! A German information page about the program is available here.

Was recogniced by Avira Antivir as a Trojan. Send to them and confirmed to be a false positive.
