After instaling the plugin on the lastest version of the player, everytime I open the player and play a song, it crashes on the very same moment. What could it be?

This fork is capable of scrobbling radio streams: http://www.un4seen.com/forum/?topic=5398.msg85390#msg85390

This version is broke for the newest version of XMPlay. The 9.7 beta is on the forum and it works... Please use Music Brainz to proof the tracks in the next version. Kind of primitive without it.

Just figured it out how do I enable this.

1. Go To Option > Plugins
2. In the drop down menu, select the xmp-scrobbler
3. Press "add" button (near the "about button")
4. Then it will appear below the "Reverb" and "Equalization" thing
5. Click the xmp-scrobbler there, and click config
6. Enter your username and password
7. Done

I think that so cool, but have some thing to put xmp out the window like a microsoft menssenger or the kmp? Because the XMP will be better with this.

It's working fine. Just remember to enable it in DSP section and put there your username and password.

This plugin is of the Generic/DSP type so you need to enable it in the DSP section of Options. That way it'll start working. Here is a little troubleshooter of version 0.8 based on extensive use of the plugin:

- If it seems to stop working, be patient, not all last.fm submission are immediate. That's by design and that's why there is cache.

- If the cache seems to grow and grow, restarting XMPlay may help.

- If XMPlay starts crashing a lot, it may indicate that the cache file has become corrupt and has to be deleted.

I have XMplay 3.4.2 and XMP_scrobbler 0.8.

@carlos: Make sure that you use at least XMPlay version 3.4 with latest xmp-scrobbler.

i put the dll in the same directory as the program but the plugin never seems to load (judging by the fact that the options don't appear)

:( bad luck

xD

@Shakeno: I can't reproduce your problem, could you please report details in the forum thread?

Seems like this plugin crashes for long tracks.
I got this message: [INFO] Submitting in -753 seconds...
Then, the plugin stopped logging songs.

Some time before works perfect in my pc, but now the log it has not been sent ... :S

#7 - John Smith commented this file on 2007-02-07, 22:12:04
Is this plugin sending utf-8? I have several songs with scandinavic characters (ä, ö, å) in file names and song tags and they do not appear in last.fm.

Thx for your job to provide us with that plug-in! would be great to add "status field" not only log.

Sorry about that, ploo. A bug in the admin panel prevented the filename to be updated, which is fixed now.
