all sounds appear well defined in a stable room. Seems to have a bit deeper bass than ASIO, can't say what is more true, but nicer. Thanks.

Reason ??

Plugin is maybe great, but my 5.1 channel works only on 16 bit resolution with xmplay and that sucks. Cant compare to windows media player 11, so bye bye xm play, im sorry

With hardware acceleration enabled, the sound is heavily distorted with a soundblaster Live! 5.1 and drivers 6.0.1.1272, while winamp's h/w acceleration works fine.
Still a nice plug-in. I hope for improvements in future versions.

Thank you soooooooo much for this plugin. I've been waiting for DirectSound support for XMPlay for such a long time. It even has selectable output samplerate! All hail Ian Luck! *bows*
