Hi,
@xalfie, more precisely xHE-AAC. That would be nice. Win10 doesn't play back this encoding natively, but I guess a plug-in based on FDK AAC codec or exhale should be possible. Regards

unable to play xHC-ACC audio.

#88 - Psydrugs rated this file 5 stars on 2023-02-16, 13:47:13
I managed to get XMPlay to play m4a files downloaded from YouTube, for this you need to put the FFMPEG plugin in the folder with XMPlay. When playing, it writes in the file properties: QuickTime / MOV. Link to FFMPEG plugin https://support.xmplay.com/files_view.php?file_id=704

Thank you for the plugins! They work as intended in XMPlay 3.8.5.
Also a huge thank you to all the great individuals who worked so hard to keep this site alive to this date, along with the updates to XMPlay, Skins, everything!

After copying the file you have to restart XMPlay.
If it still doesn't play, try installing ALAC input plug-in and restart XMPlay again.
