cool, but not support net streams tags.. =( and if played subsong better to show smth like song.hes (3/16).. not clear how to set default 'regular rext colors' from menu. Probably better idea to show current track position rather then total time of the track.
[update]: XMPlay2mIRC 0.2 showing subsongs, and support netstreams tags.. edit scripts manually. cheers!

very nice script, easy to use and config. But not displaying correct titles on radio streams, just the file name. SO I give 4 stars instead of 5. Great work anyway :)

last version of 31.07.2002 JimVonMoon v1.4 if this the last version, i found how make it work in windows 7 x64 ultimate , right mouse key to mirc.exe -> properties -> compatibility -> privilege level -> run this program as an administrator, and change settings for all users, run as admin for all users, and copy and overwrite all files from c:\Users\yourname\AppData\Roaming\mIRC\ TO c:\Program Files (x86)\mIRC\ (with mirc closed) and then launch mirc. 7.17 or above and this xmplay script works with them.

This script works perfectly in mIRC v7.1 under Windows XP SP3! And that makes me quite happy. For now, I can spam the chat room with things like "Now playing in XMPlay: George Vallant - "Arcadia - Green Fields" (1:56) [44kHz,Stereo]" whenever I want! Thanks, JimVonMoon! :D
(Note: I actually don't intend to use it THAT often.)

A follow on comment from my previous. I visited the authors website and downloaded the newer version of this script. A vast improvement over the one available here. The ability to set greater information to be displayed and also, streaming from the internet displays will show individual tracks. The newer script is a definate 5 stars and I recommend you visit the authors website @ http://fasolka.terramail.pl/xmplay_script/ and get version 2.1 pro

Excellent little plugin, it does exactly what it says on the tin. However, one problem I do have with it is that it only reads the file name in the playlist. Which is fine until you start streaming audio from the internet (somafm being my personal favourite and point of referrence for this comment) then it simply displays the stream filename as follows: @eek is currently listening to: Drone Zone: Atmospheric ambient space music. Serve Best Chilled. Safe with most medications. [SomaFM] [1032] [44kHz,Stereo]: instead of playing the actual artist and track title that's being played on the stream at that moment in time. I'm sure it's a pretty easy fix for anyone with any irc scripting knowledge, I however have none. If it displayed artists and tracks from streams, I would gladly give it 5 stars as it does it's job and is extremely simple to have customised colours for displays, however, I will only give it 4 stars due to the display problem with internet streams.
